CAMP competition.

Write about a school trip you have enjoyed and we will enter it in the LEOTC competition, prize is $250 towards a trip of your choice. Well done Ryan who has entered and good luck. Here is his entry about Lake Waikaremona.

The Lake Waikaremoana camp trip was an experience never to be forgotten!  Beautiful views and mountains, and thats only on the way there.

The steep frightening caves are definitely a permanent memory locked in my mind.  The view of the glistening lake from up high on a mountain is breathtaking!  The beautiful sounds of the forest grasp you away from reality when hiking steep terrain.

Co-operation is key to get things done at camp. We couldn’t of gotten through the caves and hills without anybody helping and encouraging! Co-operation is working together to do something, and we learnt from camp that it is a very big virtue.

Waking up from camp and doing push-ups and jogs and schedules will make you feel like you’re in a real army camp reporting for military training.  It’s not easy to have the courage to wake up at about 6:30 A.M and exercise straight after waking up.

Camp is an amazing moment that should be remembered for years and years.
